CALEDONIA, Mich. – Davenport took on their fourth GLIAC team of the season and were un-able to earn their first win. Steph Ritson was solid today, helping earn DU a point in both doubles and singles. The limited amount of available players hurt Davenport as they had to forfeit three points to the Bulldogs.
 
In the doubles competitions Adeline Nelson and Ritson defeated their opponents 9-7 in the first doubles spot. Bridget Barrett and Terin Everse fell in the second doubles slot 4-8. Ferris State automatically earned the third doubles win due to default.
 
Ritson earned the only DU point in singles competitions with her 7-6 and 6-2 win over Nika Hein. In the second singles spot Nelson fell 5-7 and 1-6, while Everse fell in the third singles slot 3-6 and 2-6. Barrett competed in the fourth singles spot, losing 4-6 and 1-6. Davenport defaulted in the fifth and sixth singles spots.
