This past Saturday, the Davenport Men's Volleyball Team went undefeated in the Lincoln College Lynx Invite. The Invite was comprised of two rounds -- a pool, which consisted of four matches, and then bracket play, which consisted of three.
In pool play, the teams played two sets to 25, and in bracket play, they played best two of three, first two to 25 and a third game to 15.
 
Davenport vs. Lincoln (B Team): 25-19, 25-13
Davenport's first match of the day was a win against Lincoln College B team. As a whole, the Panthers tallied 20 kills, 11 errors and 55 attempts for a hitting percentage of .164 along with seven service aces. Defensively they had 19 digs and two and a half blocks.

The second pool play match of the day was against Missouri Baptist. The Panthers had 21 kills and 13 errors off 52 attempts with a .154 hitting percentage. They also had three services aces, 14 digs and four and a half blocks.

The Panther's third match was a split match: each team won a set but since Davenport won by 13 and only lost by two, it gave them the win over Loras. Davenport gathered 19 kills and 10 errors off 64 attempts for a .141 hitting percentage, and their defense gathered 25 digs.

The Panthers went into bracket play as the third seed, and in the quarterfinals, they played Lincoln College B Team for a second time. They had 21 kills and 13 errors off 60 attempts for a .133 hitting percentage. The Panthers also gathered six service aces and 15 digs.
