Panthers down Calvin in five set match

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport squared off against Calvin College for the third time this season. The Panthers took the five set victory with set scores of: 25-23, 25-18, 16-25, 23-25, 15-10.
 
For this match Khari Jones and Christopher Croft shared the setting position, Jones had 39 assists and Croft had 11. Outside hitter Nathanael Vander Meer tallied 36 kills, his highest of the season. The team gathered 61 kills, 26 errors from 158 attempts, with a .222 hitting percentage. The defense gathered 53 digs and a staggering 12 blocks. Of the 12 total blocks, Jacob and Jason Mais had three and a half each.
