LIMA, Ohio - The Davenport women's tennis team was looking to remain unbeaten in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play but fifth-ranked Northwestern Ohio had other ideas as they won 6-3 over the 17th-ranked Panthers in the marquee matchup which could determine the regular season champion. The Panthers had a big win at one doubles as the 18th-ranked duo of
Puck Luttikhuis and
Terin Everse beat ninth-ranked Alisa Reshetnikova and Amanda Schneider 8-5 to earn a big point.
Bridget Barrett and
Hannah Murphy battled in three doubles but dropped an 8-6 decision to Ana Lacerda and Xiomara Aguilar. Davenport also got singles win at the bottom of the order at five and six. Barrett won 7-6, 5-7, 10-5 while Murphy won 6-3, 6-4.
