KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Over the weekend the Davenport finished their season traveling to Kansas City, Missouri to participate in the Club Volleyball Nationals. The team had a great showing, tying for fifth place overall. The Panthers played seven matches over the course of three days, and only lost one set during the whole tournament.

Two Panthers were given All Tournament Honors at the tournament. Outside hitter
Nathanael Vander Meer earned one of seven spots on the Second Team All-Tournament and setter
Christopher Croft was placed on the Honorable Mention team. On the weekend Vander Meer had the highest number of kills (104), hitting percentage (.416) and third most digs (24) on the team. Croft had the highest amount of assists (152) and service aces (7).

Day 1Davenport vs. University of Wisconsin Stevens Point: 25-22, 25-10The first match of the tournament was a 2-0 win against Wisconsin Stevens Point. Davenport had 22 kills and 10 errors on 54 attempts, with a .222 hitting percentage, six service aces, 16 digs, and six total blocks.
