GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The women's tennis ended the regular season winning four of their last five matches after a 7-2 win at Marian (Ind.) University on Friday afternoon. The team will now prepare for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament which starts on April 28 in Lima, Ohio. The Panthers will be the two-seed after finishing second in the league standings during the regular season. DU got their 12th win of the season against the Knights who recently dropped out of the top 25 but are still receiving votes in the NAIA national coaches poll. Puck Luttikhuis earned a pair of wins in singles and doubles upping her career singles win total to 90. She won 6-2, 6-4 at one singles over Maria Lueken. She also teamed with Terin Everse for a 9-8 (7-4) win at one doubles over Audrey Rang and Maria Sunga. Steph Ritson also won both of her matches with a 6-0, 2-6, 6-4 win at two singles over Grace Neathery and an 8-5 win at two doubles with Adeline Nelson over Lueken and Neathery.
