GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers hosted the Davenport Tournament and had a good showing in their first real competition of the season. Davenport went undefeated in pool play, beating Ferris State and Hope, then beat Lewis in the Gold Bracket semifinals. Finally, Davenport advanced to the Gold Bracket Championship match, but eventually fell to Aquinas in the final game.
