INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Davenport faced a tough road test by taking on the number nine team in the country. The Panthers lost to the Greyhounds 18-5 and were outnumbered in the shooting category 47-8. The Greyhounds scored seven unanswered goals to open the game to create a deficit for DU that was hard to come back from.
Brenna Knoll was the lone Panther to have multiple goals.

How It Happened
The Panthers got behind early in the game when the Greyhounds scored seven unanswered goals to start the game. Davenport scored their first goal of the game with 11:14 remaining in the period when
Amber Park scored (DN). Indianapolis continued to build their lead in the second period. The lead for the Greyhounds reached 13 goals down the last stretch of the game. Davenport scored back-to-back goals late in the second period.
Ryann Deuel scored with 12:20 left in regulation and then Knoll scored 78 seconds later, both assisted by
Taylor Ries.
