CALEDONIA, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team played a Wednesday night match against Grand Valley State falling 6-1 to the Lakers. DU is now 0-3 overall and 0-3 in the GLIAC.
The Panthers were forced to play with just four student-athletes due to illness and injury. The lone point for DU came at three singles as
Vladislava Shumilova defeated Marija Leko by scores of 6-2, 1-6, 10-5. Shumilova has now won her last two singles matches.
Sophie Gossett was downed 6-3, 7-5 at four singles against Marily Canellopoulos.
