GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport football team will have an early-season test on Saturday at noon as they welcome Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Titans are a perennial power in NCAA Division III having made an appearance in the national championship game in 2016 followed by a semifinal berth in 2017. The Titans enter Saturday's clash ranked No. 4 in the latest D3football.com poll and are 36-5 over the past three seasons. Davenport is entering the game on a high note after picking up a 44-7 road win at Robert Morris (IL) last Saturday. The Panthers gained 495 yards of total offense and held the Eagles to 95 total yards, including minus-6 on the ground. DU was also 8-of-16 on third down and 2-of-2 on fourth down in the contest.
Deondre Ford tossed a school-record four touchdown passes, including three in the second quarter.
Haiden Majewski threw the team's fifth touchdown in the third quarter to also establish a new school record.
