HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team could not make it two wins in a row in the Upper Peninsula this weekend with a 7-0 loss at Michigan Tech on Sunday.
The Panthers are now 2-8 overall and 1-8 in the GLIAC while the Huskies improved to 7-2 and 7-2 in the conference.
The Huskies took all nine matchups on the day.

Willemien Coetzee at one doubles had the closest match falling 6-4 to Ivona Gorgioski and Jessica Brown.
Vladislava Shumilova took her singles match to three sets against Mima Golac. Shumilova took the first set 6-1 but then fell 6-2, 6-0 in the final two sets. Coetzee fell 6-4, 6-2 at one singles against Dominika Bobik.Â
