GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team hosted Ferris State on Saturday afternoon at Grand Rapids Racquet Club and dropped a 7-0 decision to the Bulldogs.
The Panthers were playing with just four players in this one and it was a big advantage for the Bulldogs.
Adeline Nelson and
Sophie Gossett lost 6-3 at one doubles.
Lillian Mouw and
Emma Philippus fell 6-1 at two doubles.
Nelson had a tight match at one singles before falling 7-6, 6-4 to Isabela Paixao. The other three singles matches were all 6-0, 6-1 in favor of the Bulldogs.
