HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Panthers looked to bounce back from last weekend's series against Trine and got back to their recent winning ways against the Eagles.
-The first period started out with Evan Carroll giving DU the early 1-0 lead assisted by Tyler Blackburn and Kyle Mazur. Just a minute later and the Panthers added another. Marc Rotondo was credited with the goal and Tyler Jaenicke with the assist. Robert Morris cut DU's lead in half six minutes into the frame. The first ended with Davenport up 2-1.
-Both teams came out flying in the second. It wasn't until 12 minutes into the period when Trevor Murray regained DU's two-goal lead. Murray's goal was assisted by Jeff Rahilly and Clint Loney. Nine seconds later and the Eagles answer back to make the score, 3-2.
-The third period was controlled by the Panthers. Murray recorded his second on the game just 26 seconds into the frame. Josh Uzzell and Adam Hulsey assisted Murray's second. Justin Vantine finished this game off with a goal assisted by Connor Seymour. The Panthers would defeat the Eagles 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Panthers looked to keep their momentum and gunned for the sweep after Friday night's 5-2 win.
-Jessee Game got the scoring started 10 minutes into the first. Game's power play goal was assisted by Uzzell and Murray. Four minutes later, Loney and Rahilly set Murray up and he gave DU the 2-0 lead. Mazur got his first of the game assisted by Carroll seconds before the first ended.
-7:57 into the second and Robert Morris gets their first of the game. A minute later and the Panthers answer back. Hulsey was set up nicely by Tyler Majewski to give DU the 4-1 lead. Robert Morris managed to cut DU's lead in half before the second ended.Â
-DU dominated the third period, scoring three more goals. The first goal of the frame was scored by Mazur and assisted by Murray. The second of the period was scored by Loney and assisted by Jake Pobur. The third and final goal of the game was scored by Majewski and assisted by Vantine. DU got the sweep over Robert Morris and improved their record to 13-11-1.

Davenport will face the University of Michigan on Friday, February 8 at 5:30 p.m. The game will take place at Patterson Ice Center in Grand Rapids.
