GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport women's basketball team fell victim to the hot outside shooting by Purdue Northwest on Saturday afternoon in an 80-63 loss to the Pride. The Pride came into the game shooting 28 percent for the season but connected on 18-of-39 behind the arc. Bayley Goodman made seven triples in 16 attempts to finish with 21 points. Kelli Damman went 5-of-8 from deep and 6-of-6 at the free throw line to lead the Pride with 23 points.
Jenna Falkenberg had a monster game for the Panthers. She went 10-of-16 from the floor and 7-of-8 at the free throw line to set a new career-high with 27 points. She also grabbed 16 rebounds including nine on the offensive glass. Falkenberg blocked four shots and had a pair of assists in 34 minutes.
Toni Grace scored 13 points including 7-of-8 at the foul line and also chipped in five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 36 minutes.
Martyna Pioro added eight points and a season-high eight rebounds in 38 minutes.
