DENVER, Colo. – The Panthers went into the NCVF Championships knowing it was their final tournament of the year and came away with some bragging rights. Davenport is one of the few teams in the country that can say they won their final match of the season. The Panthers opened the tournament going 3-0 in pool play, defeating Washington University, Suny-Oneonta, and the University of St. Thomas. Davenport had a tough day two, going 0-2 in flight play. The Panthers then faced Stockton in the silver challenge round and defeated them 2-0. Davenport went into the silver bracket on Saturday and beat Wisconsin-Platteville in the quarterfinals, Providence in the semifinals, and defeated Yale in the championship match. The Panthers finish the 2018-19 season with a 29-11 overall record, NCVF Silver Bracket Champions, GLMVC Champions, winners of The Challenge and the GLMVC Tournament.
