CALEDONIA, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team could not take a point on Sunday morning in a 7-0 loss to visiting Wayne State. The Warriors grab the point in doubles winning two of the three matches. The Panthers did manage a win at two doubles.
Adeline Nelson and
Willemien Coetzee prevailed 6-4 over the tandem of Khadija Da-Silva and Teodora Radu.
Wayne State closed out the match with six convincing singles wins. The Panthers did not win more than two games in any set. Coetzee lost 6-2, 6-2 and those four games were the most won in a singles match by Davenport. DU is now 0-2, 0-2 in the GLIAC.
