GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport wrestling team had their first home dual meet of the season on Friday night. However, Lake Erie College spoiled the party with a 33-3 win and scored the final 33 points of the dual.
Daniel Poupore started things off with a 1-0 decision at 125 pounds against Jacob Johnson. There were a few close calls along the way including the next match at 133 pounds. Blake Glogouski defeated
Robbie Altland 4-3 to tie the matchup at 3-3.
Jordan Ringler at 149 pounds fell 6-3 against Brandon Tenney.
River Fox at 285 pounds dropped a 3-1 decision against Devin Uzelac.
