INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The women's bowling team continues to see great improvement and that progression led to a fifth-place finish over the weekend at the Western Shootout. The Panthers totaled 8,184 pins and trailed Calumet College (8,277), Lawrence Tech (8,336), St. Francis (8,475), and Pikeville (8,664).
Kasey Eaton earned all-tournament honors finishing in third place and averaged 203.8 over six individual games. Eaton had a high game of 224 in the fifth game and was over 200 in three games. Close on her heels was
Omani Morales who finished sixth with an average of 194.7 with a high game of 225 in the fourth game.
Karine Bouchard placed 23rd overall with an average of 182.8 in her six games. She had a high of 197 in the second game.
Merisa Batkins placed 35th overall with an average of 175 and also had a high of 197 in the second game.
