The Panthers won the third set to send it to a fourth, but the Lakers ended it there and now lead the all-time series, 6-5.

- Grand Valley State snapped a six-match stretch in which every Davenport opponent had hit less than .200.
- After joining the GLIAC prior to the 2017 season, Davenport won the two teams' first four meetings, but Grand Valley State has been on the right end in five of the last six.
