GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University women's volleyball team faced a ranked non-conference opponent at home for the first time as a member of Division II on Tuesday night and it came in the form of No. 17 Hillsdale. The Panthers rolled past the Chargers in the first set before dropping the next two, but won the fourth to get it to a fifth, which is where the visitors sealed the deal.

Match Notes
- Davenport came out hot with a ,226 hitting percentage in the first to zero percent for Hillsdale before the Chargers hit at least .293 for the next three.
- The Panthers, with their back against the wall and down 2-1 in the match, turned in their best offensive clip of the night in the fourth when they hit an absurd .429.
- Kreiger continued her assent up the DU record books as she moved into sole possession of fifth place for kills in a career with 1,154 passing Kassie Graves' 1,147 (2009-11).
- Kreiger also notched her fifth double-double in the last six matches, seventh of the season and 16th of her career.
- Herr ended a seven-match skid without reaching 10 or more kills, something she did four times in her first seven matches of the season.
- Coppess has turned in quite the three-match stretch, a span in which she's hit .302 with 27 kills and only eight errors on 63 total attacks.
- The middle hitter also blocked a career-high four attacks, all of which were assisted.
- Turnquist also had four blocks, one more than she had the whole season coming into the match.
- Rudnitsky tallied three service aces, her most since 2019, and Florn earned the first two aces of her career.
- Hayes reached the 40-assist mark for the fourth time this season and came within six of her personal best.
