Football (3-6, 2-3 GLIAC)
The Panthers dropped a 24-3 decision at home to Saginaw Valley State last Saturday.
Bryan Plegue kicked a school-record 45-yard field goal in the first quarter. The team will host #1 Ferris State on Senior Day at noon this Saturday.
Women's Volleyball (13-10, 5-6 GLIAC)
Davenport played just one match last week, falling at Grand Valley State in four sets, and just three matches remain in the regular season. The first of those three will be Friday night at Parkside with the first serve set for 8 p.m. ET. The Panthers defeated the Rangers, 3-1, on Oct. 1 in Grand Rapids and lead the all-time series, 6-2.
Men's Soccer (9-6-1, 9-3-1 GLIAC)
The Panthers earned a tie on Friday at Saginaw Valley State and a double overtime win at Northwood on Sunday. The team has one regular season game left on Thursday at Purdue Northwest starting at 4 PM eastern. DU is currently tied with Parkside in first place in the GLIAC standings and a win over the Pride would secure at least a share of their first GLIAC regular season championship.
Women's Soccer (3-12-1, 3-8-1 GLIAC)
Davenport picked up its third win of the season with a 4-0 rout at Purdue Northwest on Friday. In that victory, the Panthers scored three goals in the first half for the first time as a member of the GLIAC (last time was in 2016) and were able to net four goals in a single match for the first time since 2017, a season in which they did it four times. This week, DU will host No. 10 Ferris State on Friday (4 p.m.) for Senior Day before traveling to Parkside on Sunday (1 p.m. ET). The first time around, Davenport fell to Ferris State, 4-0, and tied with Parkside, 2-2.
Swimming & Diving
Davenport will be in Kalamazoo on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Kalamazoo Invite against the likes of the Hornets, Hope and DePauw. Action will get underway at 5 p.m. on Friday night and 10 a.m. on Saturday morning inside the Kalamazoo Natatorium.
Cross Country
Davenport will compete in the NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind. The event is being hosted by the University of Southern Indiana and the Evansville Sports Corporation with the women's 6K race beginning at 10:30 a.m. CT and the men's 10K race to follow at 11:45 a.m. CT. Men's Wrestling
The Panthers will begin their season on Wednesday in a dual match against NCAA Division III Alma College. DU will host the Scots starting at 7 PM inside the student center.
