GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The women's basketball team is heading for warmer temperatures on Friday and Saturday as they take part in the Mocs Christmas Classic hosted by Florida Southern. DU has a tough task on Friday as they play Eckerd who is currently 6-0 overall and receiving votes in the WBCA Top 25 national poll. The tip is set for noon in Lakeland on a neutral site at Florida Southern. The Panthers will then conclude the tournament on Saturday at 2:00 PM when they play the host Moccasins who are currently 3-5 overall.

The Panthers are searching for that elusive first win of the season before the team breaks for the holidays. DU went on the road on Wednesday and dropped an 81-44 decision against Hillsdale College. The Panthers will be playing their fourth and fifth straight games on the road over the weekend.
