The regular season is winding down and Davenport will play their final four games at the DU Student Center beginning with a pair of games against Northern Michigan on Friday and Saturday. The Panthers are fighting for seeding in the upcoming GLIAC Tournament. This year, all teams will make the tournament compared to just the top eight in years past due to the complexities involved with a shortened season. DU is currently 4-10 and sitting 10th out of 12 teams. The Panthers are encouraged about returning home where they are 3-2 this season. Davenport is averaging seven more points per game at home and shooting 36.4 percent overall from the floor. Toni Grace is averaging 22 points per game at home for the Panthers. DU's opponents are shooting 39.9 percent at home and 46.3 percent on the road.

Northern Michigan is currently 7-7 this season and tied for sixth with Parkside. The Wildcats have a 7-1 lead in the all-time series and have won six straight over the Panthers. DU's win in the series was back on Nov. 10, 2012 when the Panthers were members of the NAIA and WHAC.  The Panthers are looking for their first win over NMU as members of NCAA and GLIAC. Northern Michigan is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. They have played much better on the road this season going 5-2 compared to 2-5 in Marquette. They are just 1-4 during the month of February but just recently faced nationally-ranked Michigan Tech and Grand Valley State. Tech beat them 63-49 on Tuesday in Marquette. It was a tight game at 41-37 in favor of MTU heading into the fourth quarter when the Huskies outscored NMU 22-12 to pull away.
