It is time once again to take a brief trip down memory lane from the top memories of 2020-21. In a year like no other, the athletic communications department will be highlighting some of the best of the best in Davenport University athletics. This series will run from July 27 up until August 23 in preparation of the 2021-22 academic year and a chance to create more memorable accomplishments.
The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA)Â announced the top academic teams in the country and the Davenport University women's golf squad had the best team grade point average for this past year in the entire landscape of NCAA Division II for the second straight year. The Panthers and their nine team members compiled a 3.915 GPA, which was one spot better than second-place Missouri-St. Louis with a 3.906 GPA. In addition, the team had the seventh-highest GPA in all of the NCAA.
