GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Padley Gallagher has been hired to take over the men's volleyball program at Davenport University. She inherits a program that has not played a game since Feb. 9, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team posted an 8-2 record during the 2019-20 season before the season was halted.

Gallagher is no stranger to the collegiate level having coached the men's club volleyball team at Grand Valley State beginning in February 2018. She also is currently the head varsity girls volleyball coach at nearby Kenowa Hills High School.

"I am very excited to be coming into Davenport this fall and work with a new group of volleyball players, grow the game of men's volleyball in West Michigan, and become a DU Panther!" said Gallagher.

Gallagher outside of volleyball is a City Clerk for Saugatuck beginning in June 2021 and holds a bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State in hospitality administration/management completed in 2018.
