OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: George Deveau, Davenport
Davenport redshirt sophomore George Deveau (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores) scored the game-winning goal in DU's 2-1 win at Purdue Northwest on Saturday. It was Deveau's first goal of the season and second game-winning goal of his career. Deveau is earning the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week award for the first time in his career and has helped the Panthers to three straight conference wins. The Panthers are back in action on Friday, Oct. 7 at 1:30 PM as they host Upper Iowa. DU got the best of the Peacocks 3-2 in their first meeting in Fayette, Iowa.Â
