GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University women's basketball team will take a brief hiatus from GLIAC play on Wednesday when it hosts Indianapolis for a 5 p.m. opening tip inside the Student Center. The Panthers will then get right back to league action on Sunday with a 1 p.m. tip at No. 1-ranked Grand Valley State.

● Lake Superior State 75, Davenport 59 (Dec. 1)

DU had their three-game win streak halted by a trio of Lakers including Mattison Rayman, Grace Bradford, and Margot Woughter. Those three combined for 61 of the team's 75 points and 25 of the team's 36 rebounds. Lillee Gustafson led the Panthers with 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds. She went 6-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-8 at the line in 33 minutes. Gustafson and Scout Nelson both fouled out of the game. Nelson played just 23 minutes and finished with five points after scoring a career-high 24 last time out against Hillsdale. She also had four assists and two blocked shots. Makenna Bryant scored eight points and made two triples to go with four rebounds and four assists. Nevaeh Williams also scored eight points and had two steals in 14-plus minutes.

● #20 Ferris State 67, Davenport 55 (Dec. 4)

DU trailed FSU by just five, 57-52, with 8:31 remaining inside Jim Wink Arena. However, the Bulldogs used a 9-2 run to go up by 12, 66-54, at the 3:22 mark and the Panthers scored just one point after that. Ellie Toney paced the Panthers with 13 points and was joined in the double-figure department by Scout Nelson and her 11 points. Rebounding wise, three different Panthers brought down six rebounds apiece including those two and Lillee Gustafson. Toney, Nelson and Alexa Kolnitys each tallied a pair of assists while Gustafson and Makenna Bryant secured two steals each.
