SCHOFIELD, Wis. - The Davenport bowling teams took part in the third installment of the GLBC series of tournaments concluding on Jan. 29. The women's team bested the field of nine teams to take the crown in this one with a pinfall of 8,193 which was a slim 41-pin cushion over Rock Valley College. The men's side saw the Panthers narrowly miss out on first place and finished second just 87 pins behind Wis.-Whitewater with a total of 9,468.

The women's team had three players make the All-Tournament Team. Kasey Eaton was second averaging 194.7. Carly Snyder making her first collegiate appearance was fourth with an average of 185.7. Omani Morales finished fifth with an average of 184.8. Karine Bouchard finished sixth with an average of 183.8.

The men's team did have two guys finish in the top 10 including Lucas Buck in ninth place with an average of 214.2. Andy Baculi also showed out placing 10th with an average of 212.8. Nick Luther had a steady tournament placing 16th with an average of 203.5.
