Schwartz leads Panthers in Jim Koch Open

KENOSHA, Wis. - The Davenport University wrestling team competed in the Jim Koch Wisconsin Open, sending 10 Panthers to compete in the team's fourth open this year.

Jayden Schwartz led DU with 2.5 total points earned at 149 after losing a 6-4 major decision to Cael Rahnavardi of Northern Iowa, winning by fall over Charles Anderson of Wisconsin Parkside (1:48), and losing an 18-2 tech fall to Easton Worachek of Parkside.

Cody Ueberroth was the only other Panther to receive points (0.5) at 149, losing by fall to Jordan Craft of Parkside (1:32), winning a 15-8 decision over Logan Rathjen of McKendree, and losing by fall to Mason Kleinberg of Findlay (0:18).
