Isabella Carofano and
Louise Hosking claimed the only doubles win for the Panthers with a 6-2 win over Ewa Podulka and Neva Manas. The DU women were defeated at one and two doubles.
Willemien Coetzee had a tricky time at two singles as her opponent was on fire and she dropped the match 6-2, 6-2 to Grace Eland.
Amy Bloch did not have much success in the outdoor conditions as the freshman fell to Dominika Bobik 6-2, 6-1.
Hermon Mikael, a GLIAC honorable mention recipient, kept the good times rolling with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Manas. The Panthers attempted to shift the momentum, but time was not on their side. The match was decided as Carofano was ousted by Emily Cojocaru (4-6, 6-4, 3-6) in a thriller.
