GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University football team has announced its 2025 regular-season schedule, featuring an exciting lineup of 11 games, including six home contests at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex in Caledonia, Michigan.

The season kicks off on Saturday, August 30, with a road matchup against Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, followed by a bye week on September 6. The team will then hit the road again for back-to-back away games at Truman State (Sept. 13) and Northern Michigan (Sept. 20), both scheduled for early afternoon kickoffs.

The home opener will take place under the lights on Thursday, September 25, as the team hosts its second-ever night game against Lincoln University, based out of Oakland, California, at 7:30 PM. The schedule also includes key GLIAC matchups, including a trip to Allendale, Michigan, against Grand Valley State on October 4 beginning at 4:00 PM.

The annual homecoming contest is scheduled for October 11 against Michigan Tech, beginning at 2:00 PM. The team will conclude with four straight home games against Roosevelt, Saginaw Valley State, Northern Michigan (non-conference), and Ferris State. All of those contests will begin at 12:00 PM.

"We're excited about the level of competition on the schedule and the opportunity to compete in front of our home fans six times," said head coach Sparky McEwen. "Our players are working hard, and we can't wait to take the field in the fall."
