CALEDONIA, Mich. – Davenport men's rugby will return home this Saturday, Sept. 20, to host Aquinas at 1 p.m. as the Panthers search for their first win of the 2025 season. Davenport has battled tough competition to open the year, falling just short to No. 9 Mount St. Mary's (14-29) and Marian (Ind.) (25-27).
This weekend also carries special meaning, as the Panthers will host the program's first-ever Go Gold Game, raising awareness for childhood cancer.
- Family activities & games for all ages
- Giveaways - first 25 kids receive free T-Shirts & signed game ball at halftime
- Wear Gold
Saturday's matchup will be just the second meeting between the two programs. Davenport earned a 15-7 victory over Aquinas in their first contest on Oct. 5, 2024.
Aquinas enters the game after dropping its season opener to Michigan, 28-10, on Sept. 6. While the Saints take the field for only the second time this year, the Panthers will be competing in their third match of the season.
