GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. After a challenging week marked by two tough losses, Davenport shifts its focus to another stretch of road games, traveling to Chicago to take on Roosevelt before heading to Kenosha to face Parkside.

Roosevelt is coming off a split week, earning a 74–64 win over Purdue Northwest before falling to Wayne State, 78–50. The Panthers faced both GLIAC opponents earlier this season with similar outcomes, though Davenport posted a stronger scoring margin against PNW (74–42) and kept things closer against Wayne State, falling 68–59.

Parkside also split its weekend against the same GLIAC foes with margins comparable to Davenport's results. The Rangers dropped a tight contest to Wayne State, 95–88, before rebounding with a dominant 92–46 win over Purdue Northwest.

Despite the recent setbacks, several Panthers delivered standout performances and will look to carry that momentum into this week's matchups. Sophomore Maddie Geers led the way with a 26-point week, shooting 8-for-16 from the field across both games, while adding 14 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block. Senior Ellie Toney turned in one of her most efficient offensive outings of the 2026 season, scoring 21 points across the week and contributing six rebounds and four steals against Ferris State alone. Nevaeh Williams also made an impact, totaling 18 rebounds and 10 assists across both games while shooting 14-for-18 from the free-throw line.
