GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the postseason awards for women's golf in 2025-26. Davenport is represented with Lauren Gervais on the second team, while Venetia Chap and ThaiLee Gerding were selected honorable mention.

Gervais held a scoring average of 78.2 during the spring season through six events. She won the Davenport Invitational in the fall with a one-under par 143. She was able to finish in a tie for second in the GLIAC Championships with a five-over par score of 221. She also finished inside the top 10 in the first spring event at the Saddlebrook Spring Invite with a sixth-place total of 243. Gervais graduates as the all-time scoring average leader with 78.08 encompassing 113.5 rounds. Her scoring average of 77.83 this season ranks fourth in school history.

Chap had a scoring average of 78.47 in 29.5 rounds between the fall and spring. She had a third-place finish in the fall at the Lewis Flyer Invitational at 10-over par. She also finished seventh at the GLIAC Championships at eight-over par for three rounds. Chap had one more top-10 that came at the Saddlebrook Spring Invite to start the spring. She was tied for ninth with a total of 246. Chap remained consistent after a scoring average of 78.5 as a freshman. Her career scoring average of 78.50 is currently second in school history behind Gervais with a minimum of 30 rounds.

Gerding carried a scoring average of 80.64 this year in 29.5 rounds. She had a sixth-place finish at the Lewis Flyer Invitational in the fall including a fall low score of 74. She also finished fifth at the Saddlebrook Spring Invite with a total of 241. Gerding tied for 32nd at the GLIAC Championships. Through her first three years at Davenport, she has a career scoring average of 80.47 in 79.5 rounds, which is currently fourth in school history.
