COLUMBUS, Ohio - The women's golf team tied for fourth out of 10 schools in the rain-shortened, one-day Ohio Dominican Champions of Women's Golf on Sunday. The Panthers carded an 18-hole total of 322 to tie with Tiffin. Charleston (298), Glenville State (318), and ODU (320) occupied the top three spots.
The challenging course conditions from Saturday's rain gave the competitors even more reason to keep it in the fairway with a thick rough and smaller greens at the Champions Golf Course. The layout of par-70 measured 5,610 yards.
Jaelyn Feller and
Taegen Skatzka shared a 78 (+8) with Feller recording her lowest round as a Panther. Skatzka was one stroke off her personal best for 18 holes. The pair also tied for ninth place.
Codie O'Krangley played as an individual in her first collegiate experience and tied for 24th with a round of 82.
Venetia Chap shot +13 (83) and tied for 26th.
Natalie Haise and
Hannah Robinson tied for 26th as well with 83's.
Brooklynn Ringler rounded out the group of Panthers with a 91 to tied for 52nd place.
