2018 (Sr.): Named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC at linebacker...led the team with 76 tackles...ranked second in the GLIAC in tackles for loss (16.5)...recorded five sacks and five QB hurries...forced two fumbles and recovered one.

2017 (Jr.): Played in all 11 games and made nine starts...ranked second on the team with 79 tackles...ranked tied for 14th in the GLIAC in tackles...finished with 5.5 tackles for a loss of 34 yards...ranked second on the team with three sacks for a loss of 28 yards...had four games with 10-plus tackles including a season-high 11 on three occasions...had 11 tackles with a sack against Ferris State on Nov. 4.

High School: Prepped at Battlefield (Va.) High School...played for coach Mark Cox.

Personal: Son of Chad and Nichole Thornton...majoring in marketing...comes to DU from Indiana State University.
