High School: Prepped at Pewamo-Westphalia High School under coach Scott Werner...holds the school record in the 100 hurdles (15.22) and shot put (39' 7")...personal bests include 400 meters (1:04), 300 hurdles (47.11) and 200 meters (28.0)...named All-State on five occasions...as a senior, received MVP and Coaches Award...named All-Conference in 100 hurdles, 800 meter relay, 300 hurdles and shot put.
