Biography
DU Highlights: In his freshman season in 2019-20, Lizyness finished sixth on the team in scoring (18), scoring eight goals and 10 assists in 23 games. During the 2020-21 season, he played in 12 games during the shortened campaign due to COVID and finished with four goals and three assists. During the 2021-22 season, he finished with seven goals and eight assists. Served 43 penalty minutes during the season. Competed in 2022-23 and played in 28 contests with seven goals and five assists. Served 59 penalty minutes. Had two goals including a power-play goal on Nov. 12 against Western Michigan. Served a season-high 32 penalty minutes against Saginaw Valley State on Dec. 10. Had a goal in his final game on Feb. 18 against Central Michigan.
High School: In 2016-17 with Allen Park, Lizyness scored 12 points in 27 games, with two goals and 10 assists...with the Detroit Fighting Irish in 2017-18 during juniors, he scored nine goals and four assists for 13 points in 28 games.
Personal: Majoring in business administration...son of Pauline Jesue and Dennis Lizyness...born on August 1...favorite movie is The Mummy.
