2016 (R-Fr.): Played in six games before injury...registered three tackles all coming at Kentucky Christian...had one tackle for loss of two yards and one pass breakup.

High School: Prepped at East Grand Rapids High School...played for coach Peter Stuursma...finished his career with 210 tackles in just two varsity seasons...named All-Conference OK White and All-Area by Grand Rapids Press.

Personal: Son of Tim and Lori Johnston...majoring in sports management.
