The Purpose of SAAC
The purpose of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to act as a liaison and maintain lines of communication between student-athletes, coaches, and the athletic department to advance the interests of the student-athlete population and promote growth and education through sports participation. Each athletic team is represented on Davenport’s SAAC. As a student-athlete, there are opportunities to talk to a representative of SAAC about issues and concerns affecting you and other student-athletes at Davenport University on both a local and national scale. It also enables student-athletes to provide recommendations for the improvement of academic, athletic, and social experiences.
