DeJuan Hollmon joined the Davenport football coaching staff in June 2018 and will be in charge of quality control for the 2021-22 season. His work with the offensive line in 2018 and 2019 helped the Panthers increased their offensive productivity. In 2018, DU averaged 135 yards per game on the ground with 12 touchdowns. The team also averaged 329.5 yards per game, an increase of 100 yards per game compared to the 2017 season.
Prior to coming to Davenport, DeJuan was a youth counselor and mentor at Lakeside Academy for delinquent youth. In this position, he worked with young adolescents who needed guidance and mentorship. DeJuan was able to inspire multiple individuals through his patience, dedication, and leadership qualities. He was able to start a football training and workout program before leaving his position. Hollmon has also worked several football camps with the Ira Childress Sports Foundation along with assisting with a variety of children programs for the YMCA.
Hollmon played defensive end at Ferris State University from 2010-2015. In the 2014 season, Hollmon won the “In the Fold” player award. Hollmon graduated from Ferris State University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in sports communication.
