Davenport University Athletics

Jason Manary is entering his second season with the Davenport University football program and will be coaching linebackers specifically working the Rovers/Nickels for the Panthers defense in 2021-22.

Manary brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the staff. He comes with over 10 years of successful coaching experience. Prior to Davenport, Manary has made stops as the defensive backs coach at Moorpark Junior College, offensive line coach/recruiting coordinator at Los Angeles Southwest College, and defensive backs coach at Los Angeles Pierce College. Manary has also been a proven recruiter, having recruited, coached, and mentored numerous all conference players and Division I players.

Manary has also mentored at risk youth in the inner city of Los Angeles since 2007. He is married to Lashandra Batiste-Manary and has two children - daughter Jaylen (20) and son Jayshaun (13).
