Marcus White

Marcus White begins his second season with the Panthers in 2020. He helped mentor the offensive linemen and is also the run game coordinator. White saw a pair of offensive linemen honored as Honorable Mention All-GLIAC in Shain Shannon and Meckah Lester. The rushing attack will need a boost after just seven touchdowns in 2019.

He came to Davenport from Bowling Green State University. He coached the defensive line from 2015-17 and then transitioned into coaching the running backs in 2018 for the Falcons. White also has coached at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama with stops at Texas Tech University, Tarleton State University and the University of Houston. White coached the offensive line during his stints at Tarleton State and Houston.
 
White served as Offensive Analyst/National Recruiting Coordinator/Running Back assistant coach for the Red Raiders from 2013-15. He also started off as a graduate assistant with the Cougars in 2010 working with the outside linebackers. After a year at Tarleton State, he came back to Houston in 2012 as an offensive quality control and assistant offensive line coach.
 
White began his playing career at Auburn University and then finished up at Murray State University where he received his bachelor's degree of integrated studies in commerce/leadership. After college he played professionally for the Tennessee Titans (2005-07), New Orleans Voodoo of the Arena Football League (2008) and Tennessee Valley Vipers of AF2 (2009).
