Robert "Bobby" Taylor joined the Davenport coaching staff in March 2021 working with operations, pass game and wide receivers. Taylor has coaching experience previously in basketball as the head coach at Paris Junior College (2016-2020) and assistant coach at Texas A&M-Commerce (2011-2016).
Taylor holds a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Toledo (1990) and was a two-year captain and Honorable Mention All-MAC in 1990 for the Rockets. Taylor is a graduate of Grand Rapids Creston High School and was A.P. All-State and Grand Rapids Press All-Area as a senior.
