Ron Bindi will be working with the team's tight ends this season. Bindi has a plethora of football experience and knowledge at numerous levels. He coached high school football for 26 years including 11 of those years as a varsity head coach. The list of schools he has worked for include Bellaire, Notre Dame Prep, Roseville, Detroit Jesuit, West Bloomfield, Bishop Lynch, Marist, Coleman and Charlevoix. His teams made it to the state finals twice and state playoffs in five seasons. He was named Regional Coach of the Year in 2012.
Bindi also has three years experience with the Grand Rapids Rampage of the Arena Football League. He worked on the staff for the 2001 World Champions and his duties included pre-game scouting, special teams and free agent try-out camps.
He also was involved with collegiate football for three years as assistant coach for running backs, secondary and ends at Manchester College, East Texas State University and Central Michigan University.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and a master's degree from East Texas State University.
