High School: Prepped at Chippewa Valley under head coach Scot Merchant...during his senior year, tallied 32 tackles, 12 QB hurries, three pass breakups, two sacks for a loss of 14 yards, and one forced fumble...named first team all-state, all-region, and all-conference...team went 9-3 during his senior season and won the district championship...lost to Southfield A&T in the regionals.
