2018 (R-Jr.): Named GLIAC Academic All-Excellence...played in 10 games and made six tackles...recovered one fumble.

2017 (R-So.): Named GLIAC All-Academic...played in just two games due to injury...recorded five tackles in season opener against Concordia, Mich. on August 31...tallied eight tackles at Grand Valley State on Sept. 9.

2016 (R-Fr.): Played and started in 10 games in the secondary...finished the season with 37 tackles...collected three interceptions for 49 return yards...ranked second on the team with six pass breakups...had a season-high 12 tackles against Quincy (Oct. 22)...had a 45-yard INT return against Arizona Christian (Sept. 24).

High School: Prepped at Zeeland East High School...played for coach Derek Pennington...had 1,000 career receiving yards and eight touchdowns...intercepted eight passes in his career...named First Team All-Area and All-Conference as a senior.

Personal: Son of Ami Puente and Lajuan Butler...majoring in business management.
