High School: Prepped at Forest Hills Central under head coach Tim Rogers...lettered in football, basketball, and baseball for the Rangers...holds school rushing record with 3,100 yards...as a senior, rushed for 1,508 yards and 20 touchdowns while also recording 106 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles...named first team all-state, all-region, and all-conference in football...named to the MLive Grand Rapids Press Dream Team...a three-year varsity starter at FHC...won the Division 3 state title as a senior going 13-1...runner-up in Division 2 as a junior going 13-1...named academic all-state and was a member of the National Honor Society.
