2021 (Sr.): Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team...hauled in five passes for 64 yards on the season...played in eight games and made a start against Grand Valley State.

2020 (COVID): Did not play in either game against Gannon.

2019 (Jr.): Did not see game action.

Prior to DU: Played at College of DuPage...saw action in six games in 2018...punted 17 times for 41.2 average with long of 58 yards...recorded eight games played in 2017...had one rush for 35 yards...caught two passes for 20 yards and a TD...punted 21 times for 36.0 average with long of 52 yards...booted six inside the 20-yard line.

High School: Prepped at Illinois Valley Central under coach Matt Foster...recorded 45 receptions and eight touchdowns...holds records in 4x100 and 4x200 relay...named First Team All-Conference.

Personal: Majoring in marketing...son of Troy and Lisa Benson...born October 31...favorite movie is Remember the Titans.
