Biography

2021 (R-Sr.): Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team...named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC...named CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American... In his final season, he finished with 29 tackles including 3.5 tackles for a loss of 10 yards.

2020 (COVID): Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team...played in the April 9 game at home against Gannon...recorded six tackles including one tackle for a loss of three yards.

2019 (R-Jr.): Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team...played and started in seven games...finished with 22 total tackles of which five were solo...tallied 3.5 tackles for loss (13 yards)...forced a fumble and collected five tackles against Northwood...both tackles at Saginaw Valley State were for a loss...had a season-high eight tackles against Ferris State.

2018 (R-So.): Named GLIAC All-Excellence Academic...saw action in seven games after missing the first four to start the season...recorded a total of four tackles.

2017 (So.): Named GLIAC All-Excellence Academic...played in two games before season-ending injury...recorded six tackles in the season opener against Concordia, Mich.

2016 (Fr.): Named CoSIDA Academic All-District...played and started in every game at defensive end...finished the season with 26 tackles including eight tackles for a loss of 24 yards and 2.5 sacks for a loss of 12 yards...led the team with three fumble recoveries...had a season-high three tackles for loss against Arizona Christian (Sept. 24)...had a season-high six tackles against Arizona Christian.

High School: Prepped at William Fremd High School...played for coach Lou Sponsel...named team captain as a senior...named All-Conference in 2015...also lettered in wrestling.

Personal: Son of James and Katherine McMahon...majoring in accounting...born February 17...favorite movie is Forrest Gump.
